The policy of Global Energy Associates Ltd (GEA) is to provide a professional consultancy and training service to enable clients to effectively market or make the optimum use of gas in their process and commercial applications.

GEA design and manufacture gas purging and flare equipment and also hire out the plant to gas contractors who only carry out occassional purging operations. For those specialist non domestic and high pressure installations, GEA can provide on site support/ training and assist with the preparation of method statements and risk assessments.

Training

GEA offer a wide range of training services

ACoP 20 gas courses To meet the Health and Safety at Work Act requirements for competence when working working with Natural Gas, LPG or Landfill gases and on specialist gas fired process equipment such as furnaces, industrial ovens, washing machines etc.

Industrial Pipework testing and Purging Building on ACS training for larger complex pipework installations (high pressures, using nitrogen, hydrostatic testing and vacuum drying). Preparation of method statements etc

Gas Safety Awareness This course is designed for who are involved in commercial gas installations ( such as local authorities) and are required within their job to carry out inspections of gas plant installed in commercial and industrial premises andto be familiar with the gas legislation requirements and a basic understanding of gas appliances, burners and gas control systems, Also managing the safety aspects of gas works with regard to hazardous areas, sub-contractor supervision and competence, defect assessments and reporting of incidents.

GEA undertake large and complex testing and purging jobs or also provide purging expertise and support (tailored to your needs):
