There are instructions on the disc giving good practical design advice and hints on using the program. During the operation of the program we have included short drop-down help notes, which hopefully will keep you on the right track.

The data required is all in metres, cubic metres, mm and mbar. Information is also given on the disc for converting from cubic feet, kW and Megajoules!

Suitable for Natural Gas and LPG

The design information for pipe sizing covers each length in turn and the materials include steel, copper, corrugated stainless steel such as TracPipe and PE. Version 2.1 can calculate pipe losses for pressures up to 4 bar, subject to material suitability. A correction for pipework height can now also be added.

The testing calculations take account of the latest versions (Edition 2) of UP/1 and UP/1A

There is a calculation option showing how long a combined strength and pressure test would take as described in Appendix 3 to UP/1.

A printout option is available at each stage to obtain copies of the calculation report.
