A rapid independent report from the experts in the gas industry can resolve any problems and highlight any shortcomings. From our wide experience in installation codes in the domestic, commercial and industrial scenes we have been able to resolve matters prior to a formal investigation.

Our understanding of combustion and the process operation also enables us to quickly ascertain the problem and propose cost effective solutions.

GEA do not claim to be legal experts, however, modern Chartered Engineers need to be aware of many aspects of the laws around them. Many of these are regulations affecting the way in which we operate rather than aspects of civil. As gas engineers of some repute and many years standing GEA can put some thoughts forward on gas incidents and carbon monoxide investigations in particular.

In the days of the British Gas monopoly there was little difficulty in the legal profession obtaining an expert view from them. Today this is not the case. Gas suppliers and shippers have little interest in such matters as they cannot justify having such highly qualified members of staff on their books for the rare cases when they will be needed.
GEA engineers have many years of experience in the industry and understand not only the relevant standards to be adopted, but also the interpretation of them for the safety of the public.
