The GEA Professional Gas to Air Fan Purge
Unit is easy to use and enables purging and decommissioning to be carried out
safely according to the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers document UP/1
and 1A.
Available in two models for up to 100mm or 150mm pipework.
When used in conjunction with GEA’s Gas Purge Units it enables pipework and
meters to be rapidly purged to air in a safe manner. The unit can also
pressurise pipework to about 30mbar for tightness testing.
The complete unit is contained in a durable aluminium framed box is only 505 x
550 x 455 mm. The Fan Purge Unit comes complete with 5m of hose for connection
to a 1” [or 1 ¼”/150mm model] bsp inlet and a safety RCD is supplied for 230V
fans. The Unit is also fitted with a safety check valve on the fan outlet to
prevent gas reversal.
The Complete 230 or 110 Volt Units, supplied in a robust carrying case, are
available for only

Also available are two low pressure air to gas to purge units which permit
purging to gas to be performed quickly and safely. They come complete with 2.5m
vent stack, 5m hose, meter, flame trap and safety signs.
