The GEA Professional Purge Unit is easy
to use and enables low pressure purging to be carried out safely according to
the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers document UP/1 and 1A. Can be used
for purging up to 100mm [4"] pipework. It can also be used for setting up meter
regulators under flow conditions to save a second visit when appliances are
being commissioned.
Quick and simple to set to the correct velocity to minimise gas emissions to
atmosphere. No calculations required.
A complete package which is contained in a durable aluminium framed and
reinforced box
685 x 425 x
325 mm. Includes 2.5m vent stacks, sample point,
flame trap, safety signs and a 5m purge hose with unions.
The Complete Kit, supplied in a robust carrying case, is available for
£820 + VAT 
Also available is a low-pressure air
assembly with a 5m hose that can be simply connected onto the fan unit to
ensure that purges from gas to air up to 150mm can be quickly, safely and
correctly carried out.
